1) I am not Snowolf
2) I am NOT Snowolf 3) I AM NOT Snowolf.... ![]() ![]() 4) Riding a Billy Goat might make me Snowolf... .... NOPE.... still not Snowwolf. I was asked by 3 different people today at 3 separate times if I was Snowolf, because I had a Billy Goat on my feet! ![]() LOL5) 2 bowl is the gift that keeps on giving, and giving, and the when you think no more.... it gives again... if you get tired of 2 bowl gifts, just visit the neighbors for a damn good time. 6) There are some steep drops, tree branches are my friend! ![]() 7) Heather's Canyon.. nice, more steep drops but no trees. Better know where you're going. If you do it's a blast, if not it could hurt... bad. 8) Meadows is just plain bad ass.... makes Timberline feel like a kiddy slope... Makes Ski bowl painful,. even if you're not hurting yourself! ![]() ![]() |

Shows what I know... BUT,,,, the chairs at ski bowl just kill any excitement for me. I skated when I was 14, rode the first drop under the Burnside bridge....skated it for years while they were building it up from the ground... skate parks are of no interest to me. I love Timberline don't get me wrong.... Just one guy's take after 1 year of boarding at the three local slopes.... i can't see Meadows being beat by the other two even after years of exploring... I can see being Snowolf if I keep riding the billy goat..

Cool.... Let's do it! Yesterday was my first time in Heather and we only got from twilight down. It was nice..... My buddy showed me where the creek drop is, it was roped off also, but that little hazard could easily sneak up on you if you're not paying attention.
It'll be fun to ride and an added bonus if the canyons are open to explore. Just remember I'm no expert yet. Very confident in my riding but, but that doesn't equal experience. And like you I'm scared to death of heights, so no paths that lead to drops please ![]() . Shit yesterday I ended up on this cliff side between the edge and a tree. I wanted to hug the tree but didn't want to sink in the well. I grabbed the tree branches for dear life. Stabilized myself un strapped and walked 15 steps to safety. I could have just boarded through it but I froze along that cliff. I swore we dropped 3 bowl and headed far right, but I ended up in what I think was the same location later that day after dropping 5 bowl, in that case I stopped just before the trees and side slid down a narrow super steep path. In any event there's some steep drop offs when you hit the trees off the bowls. Pm me your number and lets do next week as you mentioned. I'll txt ya. |

I totally agree that timberline doesnt compare to the terrain meadows has and can be downright impossible to ride if it's too deep. If its that deep though you should be at skibowl anyway. When skibowl is good, it's the best but that can be a very rare thing because of its low altitude.
When it comes to timberline it really forces you to be a more creative rider and really pick your lines. Pick the wrong line and you'll probably be hiking out. Parks are also the best at Timberline. |

Never said tline sucked , I hope it wasn't taken that way. We spent valentines day weekend at the lodge and it was awesome. But there is no denying the difference in terrain and what each resort has, or doesnt have, to offer. |

I came down and rode at Meadows with Snowolf last season, and it was a fantastic powder day. We all (me, my buddy, and Snowolf) had a blast. I've never been to T-Line, but I've always wanted to check it out, and now I want to even more. If I can make it happen PDX I'll shoot you a PM. I'm always down to meet and ride with members.
