Looks like Steamboat is going to stay open until at least Tuesday but It's questionable if they can stay open until it's pre-planned closing day next Sunday.

Does anyone remember a time where ski resorts had to shut down early in Colorado or is this the first in recent history? Last edited by AcroPhile; 04-08-2012 at 10:01 PM. |

aside from going in the trees it is ridable from top to bottom..... I wouldnt go down any blacks with all the rocks and mud holes where moguls used to be. I was at wolf creek today for closing day and they had decent snow.... the first part of the morning until about 1130 was groomed corn.... it was freakin great. I made one run in a tshirt and had one wipeout for the day and got some nice snow burn on the elbows, lol
I will go up tomorrow at about 11am until 2pm before work here in vail for some slushy greatness |
