How long does it take for you to land a new trick?

Hi (:

Just curious, how long does it take for YOU to learn/stomp a trick? A day? A week? A season?

Also, how long did it take you to land your first 180?

Thanks for your responses in advance!

Depends on how hard you work on it. If you hike one feature in the park all day and only try one trick and then go home to the jump you've built in your backyard and practice on it till dark you can learn pretty damn quick. As for how long a 180 took me, I didn't do one until my second season but it only took me a couple of days.

There is no answer to this question. Depends on the trick, depends on the day. Some tricks get stomped first try and others take weeks.

Depends on so many different things. I hit a jump about fifty times trying to learn backside threes. Didn't land it once. Got a concussion and smacked my face pretty good. Came back two days later and haven't faltered on one since. Backside threes took me like a week and the front ones took me one try. Everything is different.

ALS o helps If you have access to a foam pit, trampoline or a pool to practice rotations/flips into. Could take 10 try's or a week. Depends on the person and experience too.

If you also spread it out over a day or so conditions of the feature change to. Maybe more icey, rail is sticky, body hurts (my case) your athletic ability, how long you've been snowboarding.

As stated the variables are vast and differ rider-to-rider

Depends if it's hucked too. Some people can 'land' quite a few tricks but look terrible doing it.
