Don't know if this belongs here or a different section, feel free to move mods.
After using snowolfs milk crate and bungee strap idea to hold my snowboards while waxing I decided something a little more stable was needed, also since we are up to five snowboards in the family now I want something thats quick and has easy cleanup. Below is what I came up with, and it works like a charm. Im sure it can be done different or cheaper but this whole thing has less than $100 in it. I used pine boards instead of pressed wood boards to keep the weight down and to keep it more durable, it does have plenty of weight to keep it from slideing on the bench when scrapeing wax. Parts List: 1" X 8" Pine Boards (sides) 18" X 72" Edge Glued Pine (base) 3/4" Aluminum Edge Trim Handles Wood Screws 3" Threaded Suction Cups 1/4" Threaded Rivets 1/4" X 3/4" Screws 1/4" X 1.5" Screws Caulking (To seal joints) Paint & Decals Tools Needed: Saw Drill (make sure holes are predrilled or your wood will split) Screw Drivers Beer (I drank quite a few on this project) ![]() This is the box put together. ![]() With Aluminum Trim. ![]() Checking the spaceing ![]() ![]() Painted & Final Assembly ![]() My New Toy NS 161 SL ![]() ![]() Completed Pimped Box

Looks good, but a shit ton of work.
Am I the only person that just throws his damn board over his knee and scrapes it?

Was not really that much work, Im a DIY person and like doing this kind of stuff. Like I said, got five boards to wax now so this will save a lot of time, frustration and cleanup.

God damn.. nice box but I just use some pushup handles on the counter for waxing then scrape it on my lap or still on the counter.... free and the I don't have to keep that box around.
Nice setup and Fab though |
