Hey guys,
So since it's summer here in CO, and all the snow where I live is unrideable, I've been pouring over boardin vids on youtube to pass my time. Now I was watching this clip (X Games 2012 ? WINNERS & BEST MOMENTS MIX - Part 1. (1. & 2. day) - YouTube) and one of the comments struck me. It read: "I'm sorry but womens snowboarding is so far behind men it's not even funny. Womens slope and pipe is boring when you see men compete at the same time." Now it left me curious, I'm a little new to the spectator scene since I just board for the love of the sport, but if this is true, why is it so? How do judges rate a good lady run vs. a good guy run? Not tryin to flame, just lookin for some insight on how judges rate. Thanks guys! |

I think they just factor in physical differences like strength and size. I enjoy both equally just like tennis. Sonetimes the womens game is more fun to eatch than the mens. It is also fun to watch the different progressions. I always enjoy watching Kelly Clark push things. She is as fierce and determined to progress as any dude. Ii also really appreciate that my ten year old daughter has these positive role models. Too bad thathe critic you heard is missing out on the fun but enjoy!
