Default Timberline for Memorial Day?

So I'm pretty sad that snowboarding season is over in Colorado. So I'm considering taking a trip to Timberline over memorial day weekend. The flight and lift tickets are pretty cheap. The hotels seem to be a little high but not too bad.

So my question is to anyone who boards there or lives in the area. How are the conditions? Is it even worth going or is it crap right now? Seems like they have a ton of snow pack and would love to get in another weekend but I'm trying to get an idea of the conditions.

Thanks in advance.

They're probably going to move the park up to the Mile next week. Conditions have been great, its been sunny and warm almost every day this month

Unfortunately within about 30 mins of my post, plane tickets went up 120 bucks . So I wont be making the trip after all unless they magically go down to week. Thanks for all the responses though.

At what point does it become not worth it to ride there? Or is it good riding all summer? I don't plan on going this year, but perhaps next

Just in case something happens and I end up getting a cheap flight, where are some cheap places to stay? All the stuff near timberline was kind of silly expensive. The cheapest I found was in sandy but it was still 130 a night. Any decent places that are ~80 bucks a night? Really the hotel costs were the only things holding me back from buying the cheap flight from before.

You can rent a yurt or small cabin in mt hood village rv park at a reasonable rate. We usually camp there though.... Great amenities for a campsite....

how hard is it to get around with a car? I was thinking of doing a camping trip up there but I don't have a vehicle. I have a few different bikes (road, mtn, touring, etc) and riding 20-30 miles wearing a mid sized pack is not big deal for me. I got a buddy in Eugene I could talk into driving me to Mt Hood so that's a non issue but it's the getting around once there that Im wondering about.

I just need to figure out a way to strap boots and board to my touring bike......
