Had some astro turf and a boarding addiction to satisfy so I decided to put them to use and practise some ground tricks.
I learned how to nose and tail block today! Anyone else do anything similar? Indra

hey that's pretty cool (: I've always wanted to try that...
and especially something like this: clickyy If I did though, my parents would probably think I'm psychotic since they know nothing of snowboarding.. other than it has something to do with winter and snow ![]() Nonetheless...I'm in the process of making a snowboard box out of the scaffolding scraps that I stole from my neighbour.. ps nice tree btw

Just can't bring myself to do that when its ninety degrees outside, besides my neighbors would probably think I'm fucking nuts and call the asylum wagon to have me removed.
Go to vegas for the summer and roam the desert for Hookers and cocaine, that should take care of your fix.

I do ride at an indoor snow done about a 20 min drive away but I am too you to drive and there are no real public transport routes because it's out of the city. Good luck with your box! That would be a fun DT project but there is no snow

I just tried out a longboard, and it's a lot more like snowboarding than skateboarding is. Getting a longboard next week, and start working on my collection of bumps and bruises

I live in a great outdoor recreational area so I just switch over to hiking, backpacking, swimming, mountain biking and cycling for the summer/fall. I built some log features last summer, but they didn't get much use this winter since the snow didn't stick around all that much at 2200ft. That and I got plenty of pow days

Long boarding is a lot of fun and its a great alternative to snowboarding in the summer. But during the summer I have plenty of fun things to do to occupy my time i don't need to be thinkin of snow boarding all the time. In 4 months it will get colder and I will be anxiously awaiting the snow pack to build to I can get out there and shred again, but until then I have dirt biking, long boarding, rafting, boating, 4x4ing, frisbee golf ect...
