Hero Vs. Bataleon
Hey guys, I'm wondering what board to chose for freestyle/park riding.
I've barely started hitting the 15ft kickers so going for the big ones wont happen for a while. I hear the burton hero is an amazingly fun board to ride, but I hear the same about the Bataleon Evil Twin.
Also i'm 5'5 and weigh 145lbs, should I go with a 149 or a 152? Thanks you guys:cheeky4:
I had a Burton Hero last year & I thought it was the wickedest board ever, & it had been till then. It had all the latest & greatest technology in it.
Landed my first & only back-flip on it, & just like the first chick you nail, I thought it was the best ever. So I'll always remember it.
Then I demo-ed the Rossignol Jibsaw, Holy shit it blew the Burton out of the water.
It was like that slutty chick you get later on in life, that really shows you how it's supposed to be done.
Oh ya just like that, that's it. Ahhh!
I never road the Burton Hero again. No shit, I sold it before I could wreck it.
I tried to find info on the board last year & couldn't find nothing.
Apparently that's cause it's coming out this year.
TRY THIS BOARD. I GUARANTEE you will like it.
This will be my 23thrd year riding & this board is a good one.
Just going on looks alone, the Hero looks like your just about to get nailed.
The Jibsaw looks like your on your 4th Ho of the day. Literally.
^^^WHAT ARE YOU SAYING I DO NOT UNDERSTAND YOU.
OP: Hero with squeezebox is a great do everything in the park board. The ET is more of a jump board than jib board. So there's that.
You could get a Whatever... That would be my pick if you're looking at Bataleon.
Also take a look at the Signal Park, Park Flat, or Rocker Light, Flow Era or Verve, Arbor Westmark, Nitro Swindle, Salomon Drift Rocker...
Honestly there are a lot of options for a learning to ride park option...
The Bataleon ET is probably too much board for the riding you are describing.
Rome cheaptrick if you are more for jumps.
Artifact rocker if you like jibs.
I guess now that I think of it I will be hitting more jumps than jibs and rails, so any suggestions on a good board for kickers?
