Well, it's official, from here on out the days start getting shorter. Yay! For most of us, this upcoming winter has to be better than the last right?

Fuck you fuckee! You PNW'ers had a rockin' winter! I am so glad I got a taste of it. Of course I am rooting for another fantastic season out there. Going to book my annual March trip in just a few months.

All that god damn snow is still sitting on the mountains here in the PNW, ruining my high-elevation hiking needs :cheeky4: (If only I was cool and had a splitboard?)

Seriously though, I would like Summer to show it's ugly face. This has been the 3rd wettest June on record, and we've still got 10 days to go...

Hate to break up the party but summer solstice us the 21st of June.
My dads birthday.

Actually I'm scared shitless that we are doomed because of our past two winters.

For the US at least, the Summer Solstice is today June 20th.

The date of summer solstice varies from year to year (as does winter solstice and both equinoxen) because the year isn't exactly 365 days long. It can also vary on any particular instance based on what side of the date line you're on, but expressed in GMT it happens at one particular second worldwide.

I'm thinking of making a trip up to either Hood or Schweitzer to see/ride with some friends...could you point me in the direction of the best shit on the mountain? Steepest runs/tightest trees/ biggest glades/ best natural hits?:D

My winter was garbage, looking forward to another shot
