Default Help: Bataleon Whatever vs. YES Great dudes of history

Hey guys, i'm looking at buyng a new board for the coming season. I am intermediate-advanced and have been boarding for about 5 seasons. I want an 'all-mountain' board that i can play around with, butter, and play around in the park a little whilst still having stable turs when carving. The two boards i've been looking at are the Whatever (156cm) and the YES great dudes of history (156cm).

I love the Bataleon tbt, and the whatever seems to be a great all-mountain, with a a lot of flex (rating of 7 i think), whereas the YES board is a hybrid rocker/camber (which i have never ridden) and is similar to the Whatever-although i can't find much info on the YES board.

If anyone can give me their own suggestions and opinions on these boards it would be appreciated and if there are any other boards you would recommend that would be good also

Thanks again

I'm assuming the great dudes is the 10/11 (which then also applies to the great beauties and boobs)? If so I have ridden both and hands down would go for the Whatever. Though I would actually say the Goliath is probably a bit closer to the way the dudes rode. Still better though. I reviewed the 11/12 Whatever on and I think somewhere in the reviews section on this forum I talked about the great dudes. Basically the pop was too hard to get to and the edge tech did jack shit. It was just an overall disappointing ride. Where as the Whatever was a board I didn't want to give back to Bataleon at the end of the day.

Also there is a gear section on this forum where this question will get a lot more views and answers
Snowboarding Is...
