I live in S/W Ontario and our local hill is Boler Mountain (Boler Bump), about 5 mins from my house.
Collingwood - 275 km (3h 45m) What are some other options around in Ontario and Michigan? I am learning how to snowboard this year, should I take lessons at Boler to get the hang of things before I go elsewhere so would it be more beneficial if I went up to Collingwood to take lessons? |

Hey Londoner, i grew up in that area and still have all of my family and the wifes family there. LOL at boler although i think they doubled the size of it so it shouldn't be as terrible as it was.
Other than collingwood i think there is an ok place in the hamilton area. Some other memeber will have to let you know about mich as there are a few riders from there. Have you ever looked into new york? only a 2 hour drive through the falls to get there. |

I would however start going to collingwood as soon as you can - I spent too much time learning on very small hills and regret it - the learning curve is slower if you can't get runs long enough to speed up then slow down then speed up again. Glen Eden in Milton would be about 2 hrs from you - not a large hill but half the drive and I think 2x the size of Boler Also Chicopee near Kitchener - I haven't been there but similar to glen eden I thnk, and short drive from London probably 2nd best to collingwood is mt st louis moonstone but no accomodations there |
