It's already snowing outside of Las Vegas - Snowboarding Forum

Last week, a bunch of storms rolled through the Las Vegas valley. While it was 95 degrees and pouring rain on the strip where I was, 20 minutes away on Mt Charleston, it was cold enough to snow... hopefully this is a sign for a lot of snow to come West this year (fingers crossed).

Oh wow!! that is sick. On the east Coast we need a good winter after last years estimate total of around 6ft the whole winter!!

Interesting, we're getting sort of an "Indian-Summer" so far in N. Idaho. Still in the high 70's mid 80's which is somewhat strange for this time of year. Extremely dry too, hasn't rained more than a drizzle in months which is also weird.

Not really sure what to expect for this year, but I'll take lot's of powder please

It snowed up at A bay today with minimal accumulation. It's supposed to be warm the next 2 weeks though...
