So I'm looking for a place to live at where I could, within reason, snowboard anytime I can during the normal season (or even year round if possible). The biggest fault is that I completely with all my heart and soul hate hate hate small towns, farm towns, suburbs, all that garbage ass 1900's type lifestyle. I wish I lived like 100 years from now where cities finally take over all the farms, and rural living is a thing of the past.
I love city life. But I also love snowboarding. Usually both don't go hand in hand. So what city would be best to live in, where I could drive hopefully the bare minimum to reach a "decent" mountain? |

south lake tahoe right around the stateline area had a nice city feel to it when i lived there last winter. i had a house on the california side but i was able to walk to nevada in no more then a 10 min leisurely walk, once you cross the stateline into nevada there was like 4 casinos to have fun at. even closer was the gondola for heavenly which was only like a 5 or 6 min walk.
