No Friends in a pow day - Snowboarding Forum

Man I want a dedicated pow board(wanna sick stick) sooooooo bad but I want a new split worse, the Girlfriend is a good sport in dealing with my impatience and I love seeing her smile after coming out of the white room

Nothing like being in the parking lot early eatin breakfast and smokin one with the avy canon and explosives going off close enough to shake the rear view mirror.......just makes me smile uncontrollably.

We were riding the 3rd or 4th Snowbird tram up last year(during a rare 3+ foot pow day) with friends visiting from Montana when they announced over the Tram loud speaker that they were opening the cirque NOW. I grabbed my friends(instructors) epic crazy blower runs before all the chutes got ridden out....man that was an awesome day.....best Snowbird day ever for me...so mush snow in your face you could hardly breathe.

My Mrs. doesn't like to ski or board...she likes to knit and cook

...nothing like firsties on a big dump and then a belly of some fine homecooked waiting at home.

For real nothing wrong with that, I love coming home to some deep fried habanero\jalapeno wantans or bacon wrapped sausages, margaritas, mojito's and PBR\Coors tall boys waiting to be drank in the warmed up hot tub!

i just meant for those of us without wimminfolk waiting at home, the crockpot set before you leave in the am = stewy goodness at the end of the day....

I purposely leave hungry..well maybe a protein shake or another Oddwalla bar...drive back and get home to make myself a huge carbonara (typical roman pasta dish) or double mushroom burgher

Carbonara:

eggs ( one per person)
bacon ( lean thick one, in chunks)
Olive oil
Pecorino + parmesan cheese
Pepper

Red wine or beer.
