Late inventory, back-ordered & short supply? - Snowboarding Forum

So hearing rumors and it seems from observations online and b&m retailers; that inventory, parts and stuff are a bit late, backordered and in short supply? And some of the specific goodies are already almost gone. Anyway, today just sourced some parts and done...so I'm not worried. Perhaps the economy, a snow year last season for many resorts and cautious production is somewhat the rationale?

Almost everyone produced based on pre-books this year. If you didn't pre-book you probably aren't getting anything. It was much needed and glad it truly happened.

I think we saw the beginning of this to some extent last season. Like BA said, it's very much needed though. Can't wait for all the threads next spring and summer of people complaining that there are no deals out there. This is 'Merica, WE ARE ENTITLED TO GET EVERYTHING AT HALF PRICE!
