Ok last year was my first year snowboarding also a shity winter but any I went for 9 days and by the 9th day I could confidently go on rails and boxes at any speed I could jumps I can carve perfectly and I can kinda 180 I didn't get enough days to practice it but anyways this season im going to get a season pass and im going to try and go at least 30 days im going to try boardercross and I want to master up to backside 360s and i want to learn how to board slide tail press and noes press oh and I can do all the grabs.
edit also im 15 and a quick learner for any calling B.S.
Sounds about right to me.
I didn't need to learn how to carve, I already knew how.
I'd just never done it on a snowboard before, I knew exactly what I needed to do, I'd gone over it in my head millions of times.
My first time snowboarding was @ Whistler, with my dads new wife & her kid.
They both had skied for years & the pukey kid was a ski racer.
I was 13, I'd only skied maybe 4 times before that @ hemlock valley resort.
So from this, 300 acres of terrain & 396m vertical drop.
To this, Whistler 8,171 acres & 1,609m vertical drop.
Tad bit intimidating it was. But I just strapped in & rode away, obviously I wasn't doing 360's or anything but I could carve no problem.
In under 5 min I learned what catching your toe edge meant, I didn't know you could eat shit in the blink of an eye, 10 times faster than you could ever get your hands out in front of you to try & save yourself.
Got that out of the way right away, haven't done it near that bad since.
Your first day back, will feel like you were riding yesterday.
I'd say 10 times & you'll be doin' 360's, they may not look pretty but it's enough to get you hooked worse than Crack.
If can't do 360's by your 10th time.
Then you better smarten the fuck up, get in the game son.
We can't be havin' any slackers around here
Just fuckin' wit chya!! 10 times you be doing 3's.
Wait & see, I bet I'm right.
