Hi

I am currently looking to launch a new brand of snowboard glove. Currently I have a designer and pro rider on the project. I myself have my own manufacturing facilities.

I am looking to create a brand to rival the likes of Pow gloves and Grenade gloves. Marketing is a key strategy to the Grenade brand, similarly I am looking for someone to come on board this project who can add value to the marketing element of the brand as this is a crucial factor in determining how successful the brand will be.

Designs have been completed. Prototyping will be done in Dec with testing being undertaken between Jan - Mar.

Designs are not set in stone and are flexible to changes.

What kind of Glove? Park /Pipe? // Free ride? I use the BioMex SuperPipePro.

I am looking at 3 different products types..Park glove, mid weight glove and heavy weight glove.

grenade gloves are basically the shittiest gloves you can buy, and a grenade sticker is the badge of a poser.

if all you want to do is make garbage for idiot little teenybopper kids and their stupid parents who buy their shit gear, follow grenade - and if your marketing is good enough you'll probably make millions. that is all grenade is: marketing, stickers, and danny kass' retirement fund.

if you want to make quality shit then look very very closely at companies like dakine, level, hestra, marmot - brands that actually have respect from people who have been playing in the snow their whole lives.

Yeah I have to agree, I owned a pair of grenade mitts (because they looked good) and they were the shittiest things ever! Advertised as cold temp mitts, my fucking hands were freezing and wet! Now own some Dakine Gore-tex gloves and they are very nice!

I have to say that I absolutely agree with both of you guys. I have bought many many sample gloves in preparation and noticed that the fabrics that grenade use are low quality. For some gloves I paid £60! Definitely it is the branding and marketing that sells. They have got that spot on although they have a shitty product.

I have factored in higher quality fabrics but want to market the brand as strong as Grenade.
