My new rail!

2 foot tall and 8 foot long! It came out really nice! it slides nice, but I need to make a few modifications to it before I really start using it, the beginning of the PVC scrapes the board and the little holes I made to screw the PVC in just make me nervous so I might sand those down too. I got a really bad gouge in my board from the beginning of the rail.

Kind Regards,

If I may make a suggestion though. Put some bracing between the upside down "V's" maybe a foot below. Then run a 2x4 the 8 feet on top of that screwed down.
This will keep it from collapsing downward and falling like a domino. I hope I explained it ok....

Have fun with it !!!

haha! that's what happened the first time we made this. It ended up falling like a domino when I failed on it, only got about 3 runs out of it. we put braces under it this time and it seems to be holding up! Thanks for the advice though!
