Sorry. I didn't think my intention with this post was all that subtle as to create any confusion?

The post's title is meant to be "ironic" as well as conveying my frustration at the conditions here in MI. while Also demonstrating my childish and petulant jealousy towards those of you living where you can ride "REAL" snow on "REAL" mountains!!

(...I lived in CA. For almost 20 years but didn't board. Thereby increasing the jealousy and frustration I experience hearing those WC forecasts!)

ahh, you were being "facetious".

for 10 years, I lived only 2+ hours from a sierra nevada ski resort and never went. I knew about it the whole time, but I was afraid to drive up there because they got so much snow and the resort was supposedly tiny. When I finally did get up the courage, the road was/is indeed gnarly but the resort is bigger than I thought and pretty awesome considering the proximity. Kicking myself for not having gone earlier.
