I just about went freaking postal
yesterday, I was simply trying to buy a set of Burton Cantbed 2.0, after calling 4 separate shops from Seattle to Redmond to Lynnwood and talking to 6-7 different people, all I got was "I dont know what those are, let me get someone". I told them that "you have them, I'm looking at them right now on your website, for $29.95", finally the last shop (Snowboard Connection of Bellevue) had a set in my size.

Welcome to the Seattle LBS world. I've pretty much given up on all the shops in Seattle for actual customer service. It's sad when when you get better service from etailers, but need an item same/next day. Evo might be the worst offender, they have a ton of product on the web but almost nothing in-store.

When I lived up in WA worst shops I've ever dealt with. Kept my business over at Revolution with Joey Macguire.

I'm a fan of NorthWest Snowboards. Of course, that may have a lot to do with being the closest shop to me aside from the Kitsap Sports, but that place is a joke. Good products if you only ride Libs Gnus, and terrible customer service. They're the type that have zero knowledge, and then look at you like you're retarded because they don't understand the question you're asking. And forget talking about new product or tech with them. Anyway, I'm ranting. NWS is legit, I've had decent luck with Evo and SnoCon, though admittedly, once SnoCon moved from their original location in downtown, they seem to have gone a little downhill and the Evo website carries more product than the actual storefront.
