Talking A Company that Cares

Ok so I'm sure most of the ppl on here are anti Burton because they are mainstream or not made in the us. But here is a little insite on a company that cares. So I sent burton an email explaining that my brother in law us a senior in high school and for his senior project he is going to make a snowboard pretty ambitious I think. So after looking up materials I figure the cost to be about 300$. Then comes the troubles of construction methods. Either way I sent an email on his behalf thinking it woe be a long shot but got a response back none the less. Burton has invited me and him to visit the Burlington Craig Kelly proto lab they are going to let us participate in building him a very custom deck specific to his riding style and his graphic choice and a full tour of the facilities catered lunch and tour of the offices of burton and the museum. All this from a simple email and a response that was more than above and beyond its unreal the lengths they are going to just for us we did not win a contest or pay them any money just out of pure generosity. And all this thanks to Donna Carpenter who set this up for us.. Has anybody ever experience this level of generosity befor over something as small as an email?? I will deff have a video of our trip and post it if any body is Intrested!!

Maybe in the past - I'd say from last year to this year the burton hating has gone down a lot

sick, you should def post a video. I haven't seen anything on that scale of a reply from a company, the most I ever saw was a guy I worked with in Iraq get a box full of Dallas Mavericks swag when he emailed them, but I'm not a Mavericks fan so I didn't jack any of his shit.

I dunno definitely some hating going on last year, it certainly wasn't everybody but last year it seemed that if you even said burton in your post there was an instant burton hating post back
