I'm having a blast riding the billy inbounds...jeez might wear it out before getting much time out of bounds. And NW is right, change of plans, hike out or duck a rope, repeat...be prepared. Lots of folks here ride with avy and skins to take advantage of whatever.

When it's accidental or someone is apologetic, it never becomes an issue. If someone clearly just doesn't give a shit, like way too many repeated bangs with their board/skis or stab with their poles as we move through the line I find it very hard not to address that. Usually they get the message without having to say much other than a stare or a "REALLY?!?!," although a couple times dudes have tried to buck up, which is hilarious since we both know they're only trying to talk tough in front of their friends.

Agree with the whatever comments. Gets annoying tho when some dick behind you keeps doing it thinking it will speed up the line somehow. When that happens I usually make a bigger gap in front of me just to hopefully piss the guy behind me off a bit.
As long as you don't delam my board I'm good, scratches don't affect performance. |
