sore knee! is it a setup?
I went through most of the noob stuff so far. Big bad stiff cambered widow maker(155 atomic alibi), no instruction, etc... I have figured out most of it now thanks to you, youtube, and alot of almost fatal takedowns. I had some foot pain from binding angles and changed the angles. Now the backside of my (leading) knee is wrecked at the moment. could be age, still weak sauce... or an angle/stance width, or?? still needing an adjustment.. i did change boards(146 burton nug) to make life far less destructive. we have had deep powder, up to my neck deep. might be from trying to lift the nose? just looking for some experiences or something i havnt considered yet??
If I don't have my binding angles right it will make my ankle hurt bad. A few years ago I spent all day messing with my angles until I found a spot where it does not hurt. You could try messing with them some day and see if it helps. Take a screw driver and adjust every few runs. You may just have a weak knee from playing other sports and age tho.
What are your binding angles... Check and see if your back leg or knee is trying to point forward while your foot is pointing backward. This will cause back leg knee pain.
If so you need to keep your body in a straight line with the board and just turn your head.
Or you can mess with your binding angles. I perfer to ride duck though...
