Thanks. Honestly, the backyard is almost perfect. Theres even a nice steeper section for landing off the kicker. It like drops off I guess. If anyone lives in the area and wants to check it out, you're welcome to!

Nice! Reading this reminded me I need to work on my runway. I live in a condo, but it aint stopping me. The only problem is the other residents are using it as a walk way and are stomping in hella foot prints. Some other buildings have features up, so if I find something I could have one. For now I am just going to have a jump.

One good thing is cross county skiers use it and pack it down more, yay!

Hahhh! We talked about making a tow rope but I think we're going to go grab my roommates quad and use that.

Very nice. I live somewhat near Greensburg in Rostraver. It affords me a quick trip to 7S or HV whenever needed. Now if your neighbors dont mind, the ATV might work out. Assuming you own and dont rent or the landlord wont mind the torn up turf. Otherwise, you should look into making a little tow rope if you really want to be serious about it. heck maybe even some snowmaking.

Talking about $2k though for the rope, the motor and gearbox, the pulleys and the hold downs, and then for the compressor and pressure washer to put it all together to have a 1-2 person lift and snowmaking. Snowmakers are loud also and being in Greensburg, they do have sound ordinances if you are in the town proper. Heck may even need a permit to do what you are doing. Now if you are out in the country a bit. No one is going to give a damn or I should say, it's to be expected to see ATV's running around. Just wear orange on your helmet though. The locals might mistake a fast moving brown object as a dear!
