Thanks. Honestly, the backyard is almost perfect. Theres even a nice steeper section for landing off the kicker. It like drops off I guess. If anyone lives in the area and wants to check it out, you're welcome to!

Nice! Reading this reminded me I need to work on my runway. I live in a condo, but it aint stopping me. The only problem is the other residents are using it as a walk way and are stomping in hella foot prints. Some other buildings have features up, so if I find something I could have one. For now I am just going to have a jump.
One good thing is cross county skiers use it and pack it down more, yay! |

heck maybe even some snowmaking.Talking about $2k though for the rope, the motor and gearbox, the pulleys and the hold downs, and then for the compressor and pressure washer to put it all together to have a 1-2 person lift and snowmaking. Snowmakers are loud also and being in Greensburg, they do have sound ordinances if you are in the town proper. Heck may even need a permit to do what you are doing. Now if you are out in the country a bit. No one is going to give a damn or I should say, it's to be expected to see ATV's running around. Just wear orange on your helmet though. The locals might mistake a fast moving brown object as a dear! |
