So I haven't boarded in about 5 years until yesterday up at Heavenly in Tahoe. I had to rent a board as I sold all my old stuff when I was low on cash years ago. I'm 6' 4" 315 lbs and wear a size 14 boot. The first rental place at Heavenly ran out of big boards by the time I got there and gave me a 154 to ride to the other rental place on the mountain. Lol I know, it was pretty ridiculous but I made it and got a 164, still even on the 164 my boot hangs over a good 3 or 4 inches, serious toe drag. What is the biggest board a company makes for a dude my size? I need something really wide with my 14 boot. I would say I'm a intermediate rider yet I've never ridden on proper gear for a guy my size. I would imagine I could be a much better rider but always have my toe drag issue and if I cut deep toe side on a steep incline sometimes it will clip my toes and ruin my run. Plus I look ridiculous on normal boards. In the words of the second rental guy who hooked up the 164, "That's a whole lotta dude for such a small board."

There are a number of wides that should work for you. A waist width of 26.5 -27.0 sould accomodate your feet on most boards. Altough anything over 27.0 will work with a 14 it will also be very difficult to initiate turns (especially on a traditional camber). Wides differ company to company so you'll have to check out the specs.

you can probably get away with something smaller than a 164, but guys like you are the reason they invented "wide" boards.

I ride a Burton Custom Wide 167 that is a few years old(i normally do 2 trips a year). I'm 6'1 200lbs with a size 14 shoe. I'm able to adjust my bindings so that the heel is slightly deeper on it giving me an extra inch from having toe drag plus I use 15/-15 stance that helps as well.

Not sure what you have for boots as well, but...

I'm also a larger guy, albeit not as big as you, but I learned a few things quickly.

I'm 6'3" 215 or so, and wear a 13. I ride a GNU 11up 162w. A few weeks ago I bought a 14 mistakenly because it was the best boot for the best money I could find at the time. It was an OLD tech boot, but I replaced them with a brand new size 13 Burton Ambush last week. I never got toe drag or anything, but the newer boots are a ridiculous amount smaller and more comfortable and functional in every way. Newer boots will have the shrinkage tech that makes them smaller on the outside and the same on the inside. That should help you as well!

I'm 6'7, 230lbs, size 13 boot. I ride a 172 skunk ape, with xl flow nx2-gt bindings. Perfect fit.

I recommend the skunk ape to anyone who asks. Amazing board for us big dudes.

I wish I was big enough for a skunkape because the graphics are all amazing. Too bad my size 10 feet are for normal boards.

If you have the cash to drop look into reduced footprint boots. The Salomon F series of boots are a full size smaller on the outside then normal boots. Base plate risers are also a good option. Your big enough that th reduced leverage won't be a problem in any way.

I'm 6'1 260 size13 boot and am having a blast on my new 165 NS Cobra x. Setup with Rome 390 binding 15/-15 stance and northwave boots. Big guys can shrewd too.

Couple of other options for you

Venture makes a 27 waist.... In a 165 or 169 for the zephyr. Their Odin model has a 175 with 27 waist...
