Trying Skiing Tomorrow

Got a packet of coupons with my season pass and free rentals is in it so I'm gonna try skiing tomorrow since they don't have any jumps up yet. Any tips?

I tried skiing last year,...literally went 25 feet, fell forward and did a major tear of my left calf muscle....was out for 4-5 weeks and it affected my riding for the season...its fine now.

Hang out near the 4 year-old group lesson and do what they do?

Tried skiing once and it was awful although it is a lot easier than snowboarding.

Keep your weight mostly centered, but you'd rather have forward than back, just in case you catch some unexpected air.

to turn pick up your inside foot and put most of your weight on the outside leg. if you want to turn left and put your weight on your right ski.

Same as snowboarding make sure to unweight/pop when turning.
