What's the shelf life on wax? - Snowboarding Forum

I ran across a "vintage" swix wax kit and am wondering if the wax is still good to use. It has 4 large wax blocks (for different temps) and is probably 20 years old. Just not sure if wax goes bad or what.

Any ideas?

ought to be good....ur not eating it. I found a 2-3 lb block at the thrift store for $2 and it was at least from the 80's it did fine.

Yeah, should still be fine. You already have it, so you might as well use it. Either way, it's not gonna hurt your board so you have nothing to lose by trying it out.
