For those of you who remember me joining the forum last year (probably only a few) you would know that i broke my wrist in 3 places from an unfortunate tree incident (toughed it out to board for the rest of the day). And my season was cut short. Hoping to get off on a better foot this year i got myself a blue pass. As its the only slope in my area actually worth checking out. Got out this week to hit the local slopes. Heres some of the days footage! Really hope you Guys enjoy. Feel free to comment and sub if you want to. Any advice you want to share please do. I could use the feedback. This was the first time i had hit the park and i feel i did pretty good. A sure confidence booster! Anyway, enjoy the video!

My mother always said that if you don't have anything nice to say....... nah j/k bro it's a great first effort. I just started recording my last few days and looking back on my own footage it just all seems under whelming. I think I am going to wait to get a pole mount so I can mix up the POV.

Haha ouch. Definitely feeling the same thing! Its hard to get a good footage as First person, especially snowboarding. Im going to make my own pole mount and will try again. Its just a pitty that youtube alway claims copyright when you want to add a sound track to the video..

so am I. I also registered with Vimeo it's not a big deal and its a better product. Plus sometimes people overseas cant view youtube. I have run into this in the past. Vimeo works well, just giving you an option to youtube, use it or not don't matter to me.

Chair lift shot. Unloading shot. Strapping in shot. You're well on your way to pro level edits. You were just missing the lift line shot.
![]() Seriously. It was a decent first effort.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. And in terms of the copy rights to music, youtube has not always been like this. Its not a really big issue, my video is still available i just wish there was an easier way to have some good music to accompany a video..
