Question Does it have to match?

Hey, im a fairly new snowboarder. I just went in January.

Now, im looking to buy all my gear as oppossed to borrowing it from people. This isn't a "which board i should buy" or anything like that.. its a little more simple.

I've found snowpants and a jacket at big5 on sale for $100 each. I love them both! Only problem is they dont really match... is that bad? does that matter alot on the mountain while your snowboarding? may sound kinda dumb but i was wondering this.

Yes, it's very important that they match. You also have to wear a bandana and a hardcore gangta over-sized tee on top. That will increase your skill +10. Hope that helps!

umm i think style is apart of snowboarding, its not gonna make you better..
but just like skateboarding, there is a certain style, now your not expected to be the same as everyone else
but i think, for me anyways... its important to match but you can go out there and not match, up to you my friend

None of my shit "matches" per say but almost everything I have is made up of earth-esque colors (brown, dark green, black etc.) and just kind of melts together. I don't stick out because I don't match and I don't stick out because I do match and look like I got beaten with the Burton stick

One of the best things about snowboarding is that nobody really cares what you wear. Everybody has their own style and I think most people respect that.
