The only ski resort in the US open in the summer is Timberline in Oregon and it's not really a cheap trip in the summer. But it's a great place to get some nice summer riding I highly recommend it.

edit--------

Here is a review of the resort from last week

yea, i was talking about those videos on youtube where people have snow in like the back of their pick up truck and then they put it on their own backyard hills. where do they get the snow? is it from a snow maker or an ice arena or something?

Ice skating rings shavings, find one near you and ask them for it.

--------------edit----------------

the only other way is $$$, you get one of those companies to shave big chunks of ice for you, but that thing is going to run you a lot of $$$.

Only place to get it is from an ice skating arena. Problem is it does`nt last more than a couple of hours and thats a lot of work shoveling for an hour or so. I am assuming you are sessioning a box or rail? Best bet is astroturf kept wet with the hose and silicone spray on the bottom of a well waxd board.

i did it with 4 mates and we filled a very large trailer with the ice arena snow in a very short amount of time and in the blareing sun of summer it lasted all day... just keep it all together in the trailer as much as possible and then keep layering it on your run up every so often.
