Default best surface for summer boarding?

Im making plans for a backyard set up for in the summer and i was wondering what works better: indoor/outdoor carpeting or like a grass turf carpeting. or if there is a better material (that is cheap and easy to get) please let me know. thanks

don't actually know but at a guess id choose astro turf....maybe even some water on it like the hockey fields...though this could just as easily be counter-productive.

good luck...let me know what ya choose and how it goes if ya follow through.

Go to your local ice rink with a trailer and there should be a pile of it somewhere around the outside of the building, if you don't see any go in and ask what they do with the snow/ice from the zamboni

exactly. if you dont see snow outside, check with the zamboni driver on his schdule and see when he is dumping "snow" outside.
