Harder than you think, but I've only had very limited experience in a kickboxing class. To be clear, it wasn't a kickboxing aerobic class, it was real kickboxing. Anyway, it took a lot more energy than I was expecting. Especially in the first round where it was all foreign to me. I didn't really settle down until the 3rd round. I was also up against a guy with 3 more years experience that was holding back. Until I landed a solid 4-hit combo on him. At which point, he proceeded to kick my ass.

So potential guys I'm fighting. Brawley from iON Cameras which I've met and will probably hurt me, Some guy from JSLV who is wiry but not as in shape, or Kyle Clancy who I'm scared to death of and will probably maim me for life.

Brawly and I probably can't fight since iON is my official POV camera sponsor it would just be awkward. I'm not fighting Clancy that dude trains in MMA for 5 hours a day. There's just no way I'm going to subject myself to that torture. Option 2 is definitely viable, but there's other people coming out of the woodwork. They're trying to match people based on size/weight. So at 5'11 and 170 I'm hoping someone else steps up over the weekend.

I'm not even close to the same weight class as Adam from OZ he's probably got 50lbs on me easily.

Sorry, that wasnt really a question per se, more of a statement of confusion. I have taken kickboxing/mma classes at my gym, and while you are right about how intense it is and not being able to breath, but its common sense to go back to a guard position after a strike. They would throw a punch and drop their hand to their waist....its not going to be a whole lot of help blocking a counter there!
