Where to buy in LA

I'm coming to America from Australia in April and I'm looking to buy jackets, pants and a pair of boots there. We will be driving from LA-Vegas-Mt Rushmore-San Francisco. What are some good/big discount shops along the way, but preferably in/near LA. I'm a beginner and last season's discounted stuff would be the best.

We will mainly be shopping at premium outlets because my family loves them. Does Columbia, the North Face, Volcom or DC at the premium outlets have many or any snowboarding stuff?

One more thing. I'm 15, will my feet still grow? should i just keep renting till next year?

And as far as the boot thing goes, no one can answer that. Some people's foots grow, some don't. If you've had your growth spurt, I'd say you probably won't grow much. I didn't hit mine until around 15, I went from a size 9 shoe to a size 12/13 (US not Euro sizing). THe premium outlets in Vegas do NOT have snow stuff from what I've seen (I'm from Vegas).

Definitely depends on the person. For example - I wore a size 13 at age 13 and stopped growing around 15.

You'll never know for sure but you might get some of an idea from the way the rest of your family is. Again, with that said, I'm the tallest person out of any of my known relatives.

Good luck!

A large shop will likely have a better selection of sale goods, but probably only from a big manufacturer. I went to Sport Chalet locally yesterday and they had some 2011/12 K2 boots for like 40-50 bucks on sale that retailed close to 200. Some bindings and boards on sick sales too but in weird sizes. Small shops will have a better selection I've found and better staff.
