Is anyone else annoyed by the fact they still get 'LED Snowboard' ads on their facebook all day?

Never mind that they sunk $20k+ into product alone and god knows how much they've spent on using non stop ads to get 10k facebook likes and sending countless people to the kickstarter page that failed horrible (LED Color Changing Snowboard by Nason, Max and Mike — Kickstarter), they're still trying to make these and sell it after getting some sucker to invest the $30k they couldn't get from kickstarter.

The creator also says 'they're working on getting these into snowboard shops' now.

What kind of self respecting snowboard shop would carry these... these guys make my head hurt. It's like watching one of the failed pitches on Shark tank where the guys don't understand their product is stupid.

What an idiot, why would anyone want this? You want extra weight, something that'll likely break off, and electricity around water? I feel bad for whoever invested 30k.

I think to OP is the investor. Why else would he place the link in his post to direct us to this product??

I can go to lowes and make this happen for less than 30.00...

It seems like it'd be technically feasible for someone just cruising around on groomers who isn't concerned about a pound of extra weight on their feet. Supposedly waterproof and so on. The biggest problem I see is that it looks incredibly lame.

I literally have nightmares that I'm the investor for LED Snowboard.

Some people can't be told that their idea is a turd. I have this discussion with companies over and over again. It comes down to some simple principles.

1. They're right you're wrong even though you've ridden your whole life
2. Their "market research" says they're right and I'm wrong
3. More money than common sense
4. Stupid people encouraging them.

Which, since the only benefit of the thing is "visual appeal", is pretty much a show-stopper.

Yeah, exactly. I'd expect the sort of person who would put this on their snowboard to also have spinners on their car.
