Fuck that. I like seeing what other mountains have to offer. I don't mind watching runs through the park. You know what your mountain has the ours don't? Snow.
But make sure you put it in the right section. That is annoying. |

Kudos for uploading. I'll try some constructive criticism
![]() I haven't watched the whole thing but a few pointers I can give you: 1. GoPro POV footage is nice when John Jackson or Travis Rice or Jeremy Jones do it. For a regular boarder, POV makes you lose all sense of steepness and speed so you look like you're going 5 mph on a 5 degree slope. Even if you're not. 2. An edit should be around 1.5 to 3 minutes long. That's plenty of time even with a big bag of tricks. From what I could see you pretty much only do 50-50s and a few ollies so you seem to have a very limited set of tricks. Please correct me if I'm wrong. As I said I haven't watched it all. My suggestions: Make it short, quick, snappy and work on new tricks. And most importantly let someone else film you. POV is just not the way to go unless you spin or go down a steep sidecountry part. Also, cut the parts where you and your buddy just go down cat tracks and the slopes .Cheers Last edited by Basti; 01-27-2013 at 04:41 PM. |

Hey boardneub, when did you shoot the video? Because I went to Blue Mountain yesterday (1/26) and there wasn't that much snow. It was actually pretty icy. So when did you go? 'Cause I really missed out that day

You guys are so cute. I lost interest after seeing the same shot of the same 50/50/straight air on the same box 3 times...
I agree on the "seeing another mountain" thing, but we did not see the mountain, we saw 1/2 the mini-park features and 2 green groomers. |

Well Lots of goods and bads here, but it all helps.
Firstly, my apologies on the section, really though this was the right place to post it. Not overly active on here so still getting the roles. Secondly, Still a beginner boarder, but I do enjoy making the mix ups of clips, Ill try to get some more variety. Third, Im working on a pole mount for the GoPro so I can get some more solid footage to work with only the second time out on the hill with the camera, and the first time it wasn't functioning correctly so still learning. Fourth, I was at Blue this Wednesday past, So that would be the 23rd? Lastly I was trying to find a good song for audioswap to avoid getting copyright strikes against me. So i apologize again for the length video. |
