Personally I use my digital camera as a video camera, but if I could afford more I would get me a nice Hi def camcorder.

There was another thread around that suggested some. I recon go for minidv and get the best you cann afford. Im looking to get a song DV camera for about $300 US from bestbuy.

actually I saw this one at the cable park yesterday, and it looks like it would be nice for snowboarding, considering you don't have the monitor comming out of the cam

^^^^^ I know, much much cheaper, I saw it and I was like "this is the perfect one" if only it was a bit thinner.

But none the less looks like a great camera for snowboarding.
