Default Official " 5 MONTHS TILL SNOWBOARD SEASON day !

Its "official 5 months till snowboard season" Day !
Thats right you winter haters, and sun worshipers.......... FIVE MONTHS till I get to go play in the white fluffy and icy crusty stuff..........

Who else is stoked for SKI/SNOWBOARD SEASON 2009 ?

I'm picking gear out now for a few new rails of my own, and will be selling off a few sets of vintage boots if anyone needs gear, LMK !

Jiminy Peak will have brand spanken new crew uniform jackets this year I think......

Hope no Lame colors !

Sofar my shopping list includes a pair of CATEK custom freestyle bindings and a second carver board in the 177 range, but I'll have to see what I want...... Still leaning to a custom from donek or Coiler, but a Virus sounds nice.......... who knows......

But definately not a RENTIGER @ yardsales !

Hey you look cute in your avatar joking . I am sorry I just had to say it

Either way yes I can't wait for the winter to come, but right now I am having a blast wake and knee boarding. I just wish it wasn't so hard in my hip.

Default Can't Wait

Us snow lovers are a special breed.

I have some jibs set up in my yard and have been practicing flips on a trampoline - my neighbors think I am totally nuts! I even hired a personal trainer to design a workout geared specifically towards snowboarders.

I also am going sandboarding for the first time at Silver Lake dunes this week, totally stoked !!! Anyone out there tried it yet?

I WANNA SNOWBOARD NOW!!!!

Except I still haven't found out whether I need a knee op or not which will destroy next season if I do. The waiting times over here suck!

Well if you are in North America getting the knee operated on sooner rather than later gives you a better chance to enjoy some of the season.

Unfortunately in England, which means I need a definite outcome by August 1st to let my resort know whether to get me a sponsored visa or not. Time is not on my side with our healthcare! Considering I have 1 more physio appointment in 2 weeks, if its no better I get referred back to my GP, who then refers me to an orthopedic surgeon who makes a decision from there, and if surgery is needed I have to wait for that for up to 3 monhs.

The joys of the system!
