Default Shipping to Canada from AllSportProtection?

I'm looking to buy a Demon Flex Force Pro for my wife (upper body protection) after her accident on Seymour. Can't find anywhere in Canada that I can order it directly, but I'm prepared to be corrected on that if someone has a URL. At the moment it looks like I'll have to buy from Extreme Sports Equipment and Accessories | AllSportProtection.com . They say they ship usps, but I want to make sure that the order won't end up in the hands of the dreaded UPS once it hits the border. Anyone have experience with that?

If it ships USPS, there is not reason it will not be handled by Canada Post once at the border.

Just make sure they actually ship USPS.

Hey Donutz, I bought mine directly from the pro shop at Nakiska. I can check next time I'm out to see if they have it.

I too am looking to buy more and I may just buy directly from Demon. They ship with FedEx and I've actually had good luck with them lately re:brokerage fees, etc.

There's a store here in Calgary that carries it too, but you'd have to call to price it out: http://www.skicellarsnowboard.com/a_demon.html

Every time I have shipped something from the US to Canada via USPS it ended up being delivered by Canada post. Be patient as it takes a long time, and tracking is not available as soon as it cross the boarder.

This is also my experience. Though now I ship to the border and pick it up myself.

Thanks. I don't mind if it takes a bit, but if UPS manages to insert themselves into the transaction it'll double the total cost. Fuckers.

Only way that will happen is if they ship with UPS right from the get go. USPS takes a smidge longer, and you lose tracking at the boarder, but I haven't had any major issues with paying out the ass with customs fees like with UPS. For the time being, they also haven't bounced packages back and forth across the boarder like UPS has as well.

That left a bad taste in my mouth. I had expected to pay about $30 for customs, but instead ended up with a $120 bill, including the cost of express shipping, which was about $50. =/

Have you looked in XSprotective?

They have a flat rate UPS shipping with brokerage similar to newegg canada.
