Looks like routine summer maintenace. You should see the lodge at Mt. Hood Meadows. I was up there last weekend and the interior is gutted. They are rebuilding a whole lot of stuff. These resorts see a lot of this type of work go on in the summer. Lift maintenace departments are busier inthe summer than they are in the winter for example.

I didn't know that. Who knows if they are going to build something new for this upcoming season. It surprises me how long they managed to keep the Montezuma Bowl open this season.

Yeah, Slapahoe doesn't have any major projects going on that I know of. They are probably just doing little improvements. This is pretty common place for all ski areas. Summer is the only time they can get a lot of these things done. Maybe an improvement inside the building, an outhouse for the 1st year instructors (they don't deserve running water right? ), a catapult, who knows???
