Does anyone know where the first snowboard halfpipe was created? I'm doing a crossword and its a 9 letter word, 2nd letter is a, 5th letter is e, and the 7th letter is e. Anyone got any ideas?
In the early days of snowboarding, natural gullies served as crude halfpipes before giving way to hand-dug trenches. The recognized first snowboarding halfpipe, the "Tahoe City Half" was actually located in California at the Tahoe City dump.
Tahoe City fits the number of letters, but I have an e where the i would go. I'm pretty sure the e should be there too.
Location: Frederick, MD in other words to far from the big mountains

EPIC FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha better stick to the word search, that was funny. Hey I prefer the word search though. I don't have the mental endurance for the crossword, I just don't care that much. Or I could be lazy and stupid...
