Default Back from the snow but ....

I went to the snow about a month ago .. i know its a bit late but anywho~~ heres my story..

So I tried out my new gears. Just recently got a burton custom x 156 and some c60 bindings Seeing as its a pretty stiff board i was kinda nervous at first but it seemed like it cut the snow real well. well better than the board i used when i last went snowboarding keke

so i was cruising down just getting used to the board iniating some turns but what i realized was that every time i initiated a toe side turn (im goofy btw) my feet would kinda lift off from the back heel and i'd literally be on my toes. so a lot of pressure was being forced there when it was very slopy and i did not like that at all.
so basically what im experiencing is the lifting of the heel on initiation of toe side.
the boots are a good fit. with only 1cm ish in the front left or less and i tightened the crap out of the boots too to the max. i dont know whats going on

anyone got any ideas ??!

is your foot lifting out of your boot?
or is your boot lifting out of your binding?

go to ur local shop and see if they can throw some makeshift j-bars in the heel for you. this happened to me and the jbars helped alot but i eventually figured out that my boots were just too flexy for me so now i gots to go buy new ones. if your boots are fairly flexible this could be causing problems also because ur board and bindings are fairly stiff

The DC Phase men's snowboard boots were inspired by DC's skate shoe collection. These soft-flexing boots are made to be as comfortable as your favorite street shoes. Traditional lacing keeps the Phase light in weight and easy on your wallet. The Phase's upper has mesh panels to reduce weight even further, and the Delta liner adds to the boot's comfort. The Delta liner has its own lacing system to help you dial in your fit, and the 3D molded J Bars keep your heels in place. Park riders of any level and beginning all-mountain riders will enjoy the Phase's mobility and comfort.

Water-resistant synthetic leather upper
Foam-lined calf pad
Sticky Rubber outsole for increased traction

this is the boots i have. apparently has 3D molded J bars? haha

maybe its because my board is stiff??? what do i do about this?!

im not really sure my boots were pretty basic and had no jbars included. If i were you i would take the boots into a knowledgable shop and explain your problem to them. Hopefully they will either be able to fix it, or if they cant they can help set you up with new boots that will work better for you. I know it would suck to have to buy new boots but thats excatly what happened to me i rode my boots probably 10 times and they just didnt works so im just gonna replace them

ahh i only wore mine for 3 days haha
was not very pleasant coming down fast and turning on toe side. not pleasant at all.
also when i was going up on a chairlift with one foot in the binding and the other just hanging, my heels were sorta lifted off so i was scared my board would fall off..
