Default Jobs in Snowboarding

So I'm looking for internships next summer and I was wondering if anyone here knew how to get a job in the industry. Or, maybe more of a career. I'm a Marketing/Psych major. Just kind of looking for anybody who's experience with the industry maybe help me out? I've found two places where I can submit/apply for a job (one with Vail Resorts and one with Gravis) but I'm not gonna put my money on getting either of those. Doesn't really matter that there won't actually be snow there when I'm there for the summer internship, cuz once I graduate that means I'll (hopefully) be moving out to wherever it is (i.e. Denver/Salt Lake City/Lake Tahoe would all be very choice.) I'm specifically looking for snowboard companies, since I figure the only way I'm actually going to enjoy anytype of business career is if it has something to do with snowboarding.

Start contacting people now and offer to be a campus Rep. this winter. Expect to pay your dues. If you are in Marketing for Vail, expect to be in Broomfield.

MALAKYE.COM :: ACTION SPORTS INDUSTRY CAREER OPPORTUNITIES California Snowboarder WTF? Seems strange but they're plenty of them. Mountain High or Big Bear aren't that far away.

I never been happier than when I was a night Janitor in the Mammoth Mountain Main Lodge or a Cook down in NZ or JH. Industry Jobs or "real jobs" are over-rated. Get one that allows you access to a mountain and the time to ride it. The only reason that I'm working for a living now is that I'm almost 40 and have three kids to support. Do what feels good...

^ I second what the man is saying up here. Real jobs are for people that don't want to ride.

Don't be a snow carnie man don't do it. If you have sales experience you could say you want to work in one of their stores, I think they still own showcase snowboards but don't quote me on that. If you have experience working in a kitchen you could be a cook. Try to find a solid night job with the resort even if it means cleaning toilets till 2 a.m.
