Hello
So 1 week ago I ordered a Rome Agent Rocker 159 from Dogfunk, their last 159 board in-stock. Then amazingly, UPS managed to actually loose my board... I find it utterly amazing how they have managed to loose something of that size. Hopefully they will find it before monday ends, else I get money back. Anyone else experienced something like this? How did it end? |

Sucks to hear, but considering the absurd amount of packages those shipping companies handle, their reliability is pretty stunning.
However, that means nothing as soon as they fuck up and lose one of MY packages.

I hate UPS. Seriously. In a 2 week period I had them lose 7 packages. 7! I had ordered a violin for my nephews music lessons, and a bunch of soccer equipment for my daughters soccer season. They said it was all delivered....but I had been here all day with the door open and only the screen door closed on the 4 days they said they delivered, and NO ONE delivered a damn thing. I went around and around with them for a month about the whole thing. I have not seen the usual driver on this route since then. They are still claiming that I somehow did not see the packages delivered (even though on one package the driver has it marked that he gave the package directly to me, and even has a signature with my name that is not in my handwriting) and that someone keeps stealing the packages off my porch. I use Fed Ex or USPS whenever possible.

UPS lost over three hundred dollars worth of hats and jerseys from MLB.com. I was so pissed. Some of those were also birthday presents, which of course, left me without presents to give out since I hard ordered them just in time.
Now they have this new alliances with USPS where they have USPS do the last leg of the shipment. That's another horror story. Stuff gets lost in that handoff, too. Not to mention that it adds like two days of just processing time. Unless you pay an arm and a leg for premium service you're liable to suffer at the hands of their less than stellar service with more possibilities for losing packages. |

I've had good experiences luckily with UPS and Fedex over the past decade of ordering thousands of computer parts. For the past 3 years it's been snowboard gear
![]() That said Fedex>>>>>>UPS. UPS sucks. Late, slow and I swear they punch a hole in your box before dropping it off. The only time I ever lost something was with DHL when they announced they were closing and their driver stole my shit. |

You know what pisses me off too...
The tracking is showing me that they have my stuff in a warehouse/hub that's like 2 miles from me. It's there. Right now. Yet they won't let me go to the warehouse/hub to pick up the stuff. I could have my stuff TODAY. But nooo, I have to wait until TUESDAY just because they have to roll the stuff around in their conveyor belts some more, and then hand it off to USPS (who may lose it too). We're getting like a half foot of snow right now. I'm gonna miss out on fresh snow this weekend since I don't feel like paying for rental equipment while my stuff sits in a UPS hub.
