Hey guys I'm just curious if anyone can help me out. This season I started to get some crazy knee pain after snowboarding. I only get it on my back leg and it hurts for a few days after even when icing it. I have medium cartel bindings and ion boots size 10. I'm about 5'7, 5'8 170 pounds and ride +15/-10 binding stance. The pain is in the middle on the front side of the knee.

Yeah the bindings angles aren't bad, although duck isn't for everyone. You could try a neutral (0/+18 or so) or forward (+10/+30) stance and see if it improves.
for a 5'7" person I'd try reference stance width on most boards. Something around 21" centre to centre of the bindings. You may need to go to a sports physiotherapist. Bring your board, boots and bindings and maybe they can help??? |
