As I sit here at work and look at the weather channel, I see winter coming. Temps are droping and by 10/15, temps will be 10-15 degrees colder. Making night time temps near or below freezing. Also Whiteface mountain reported snow at high elevations on 10/3. Ahh cant wait!!

Yea its getting close. The Adirondacks peak season for leaves is ending so it wont be long. Plus I see alot of lake effect rain happening. I like that because as long as that trend continues which they say it will, that will turn to snow as soon as it gets a little colder. Realistically probably another month and a half and we should all be riding.

Maybe the Farmers Almanac is correct they are predicting a snowy november.

And here is another sign Winter is coming

My mother is telling me I have to switch everything around. Put the lawn mower and stuff away and pull out the snow blower, plastic up the windows, put the grille away, the patio furniture etc....

I turned on the furnace this morning to warm up the house. Loveland and Abasin will probably open for the season before next weekend. It's just getting started now.
