We will ride the basin a few times a week until close. We dh and xc most of the summer and fall too. The last 4-5email tears we have made a trek to hood for july/august turns. Prolly do that again this year too.

Last two years I rode until Abasin closed for the season and I plan on riding out this season all way to the end this year again. ...Then back at it again next October.

I love having a few months left to go when everyone is complaining that their seasons are just about over.

This is the last weekend at my local mountain. Waterville closes next weekend and it looks like Loon is shooting for April 21st.

Now I have to decide if I want to spend the cash chasing snow or bank it towards new gear for next year.

Unless you have a crap setup I'd say go get more snow now. That's not even comparable, though - a new setup will be likely much less than hitting Whistler for even a few days.

I am pretty stoked to buy new gear but not quite as much as actually having a fun day on the slopes.

The PNW cascades got pounded for a week straight and got over 8' of snow. Last Saturday was the best day for blue bird and Im hoping the slopes stay open for a little bit longer than mid april (praying)

Love this sport!!!

I think I'm going to get out one more time, maybe Loon. It sucks to think about after having such a great weekend.

I'm going to take advantage of a sale or two, grab some new gear and tuck it away for next year.

Snowed on and off all day at Belleayre in the Cats today, open for another 3 weeks according to the staff. Fuck last year, had a late start, but it just seems to keep snowing this year

I'm riding Kirkwood Sunday!

They had a dump last week and they keep getting dustings without real accumulation. But they say the base is still reasonable. Hoping we can get one more weekend after that at Tahoe. Even if it not great...I'll take it.
