Crazy new hinged bindings: will these ever work? | Whitelines Snowboarding

Its not a bad idea, here is one of the places you've seen it.

3rd feature down.

Should allow some fun ollie and press situations.

Full movement like in the OP will probably never fly, something more subtle and bushing oriented like what Burton has done will and should be explored further imo.

Actually i don't think its a HORRIBLE idea, while i wouldn't need it cos my riding wont ever require me tweaking a grab like that i can see how it "Might" be useful for someone somewhere.

It's not the best product i've seen but i have certainly seen worse. The real question would be how well built it is and how it would hold up to 200+ days of riding, i'm tipping right now it wouldn't.

Good job Whitelines covered this nearly 4 years ago. Tweak That Binding

Rocket Reeves did this back in the day it's not anything new. Someone needs to tell those hacks over at Whitelines to do some research.

Thanks, I knew I'd seen it before. Maybe someday when someone innovates and patents something it will be an actual innovation... or at the very least, a good idea.
