I would focus on school. After that you can decide which career field you would like to dive into. The more options the better off you are.

Someone I know is a snowboard instructor during the winter season and a TA (teacher's assistant) in engineering at a college during the off season.

I did horseride 4 times a week, snowboard every winter weekend and work 20% as programmer during my biology study (good grades). The day has 24 hrs. The more attentive you follow the lessons, the lesser you have to learn in your spare time. You won't need the entire holiday to learn if you prepare/rework the lessons during the semester. Time management and organization are key.

Other option: did you think of studying e.g. in Austria or Switzerland?
