The videos this year are pretty good.

Hoping a few of you wouldn't mind voting for Pat Moore. He is probably one of the nicest people we have met over the years, we see him a few times a year. He wanted to show us how good his brand of wax was so he actually invited my son over and he waxed his board a the place he was staying..... Always up to BS and help people out. He is actually going to donate all his winnings from this to a friend to pay his medical bills and then the rest to testicular cancer research.

The guy he is up against has a fucking lift in the end of his video, that's A load of shit.....

Vote whoever, i just put it the way i did because i knw the guy and he has always been cool to us and our kid.

Also, Guess I have a different view on the big events than you. Xgames, dew tour, Burton open are vehicles that athletes use to be seen by a large audience, make some money to pay the bills and keep boarding, keep doing what they enjoy.... There are a lot more people tha will see them in this international tv venue than sitting slope side. Yeah, they make money off of the athletes, yeah it's pennies compared to other sports. There are a lot more kids and college students out there buying football gear, basketball shit and golf clubs. Also a lot more people following those types of premier athletes. Maybe I have not been around the sport or industry long enough to dislike the machine...

These events bring more people and mosey to the sport, the mtn towns that hold them and the athletes that ride in them(winnings, exposure for sponsorship, etc). TR can wag his ass n it's face all he wants, if that's what he is doing but he got his start in these types of events too. I don't go to games nor do I really watch much of it or other events but even I, a dumb nurse that snowboards as much as possible, can see the usefulness of the events at hand. Seth, who has coached my son the past few summers, seemed pretty damn excited to be a part of the open and now the dew tour this coming season..... Most athletes I meet seem happy to be a part of them, mainly for sponsor leverage and the chance to compete against the best.

Maybe I'm naive but I don't give a shit, I'll keep snowboarding, supporting athletes, local shops and spending way too much money on gear and travel every year.

You can think what you want. I'll say this don't fall for the gimmicks. Vote for the best riding and editing. People get caught up in bullshit fanboyism and neglect looking at the better edits. Did I vote for TR? NO, did he win? Yes.

Snowboarding will never be about the corporate competitions, the mainstreams perception of snowboarding, or all this bullshit that is going on in it. It's a lifestyle culture not a sport culture and until people realize coaches, agents, and mega corporations buying advertising but not paying riders don't belong it will be broken.

I will definitely get back to them later to finish watching them all. I love watching all that BC, Big Mountain, POW riding, Big Air etc.. Talk about getting "Stoked!" :D

I think telling people to vote for this guy because he was nice to me is bullshit. It's a fucking snowboard video - do you think people need help deciding?

Trice's run was hilarious. A snowboarder not doing something properly - OMFG I can't believe it.

And Freddie k's final jump was near a lift.....does this make his booter inbounds somehow? Looks like a big cheesewedge just like all the other cheesewedges in all the other videos. Wait a sec, only trice didn't have a cheesewedge in his vid - he should win just for that

hittin cheese weg to *#&$^3 to big open bowls and big lines just takes some balls.

landvik....if I could figure out how to vote...cause
filming in that kind of terrain is hard work
riding in that kind of compact terrain is balls out, hard work and no guarantees
and he's a loco

he didn't have any weg...it was au naturale
and tr...the commentary was funny
