I've heard about Timberline and I'm looking forward to it too. The thing about Oregon that I'm not used to is that I can have so many "first rides" here. There are a dozen great places and I can probably hit each on at least once this year. I'm looking forward to all of them.
Well, I don`t know about the bible study.... My wife hates snow too; she refers to it as "the white shit" She does like relaxing in the lodge though and we do dinner after I I am done riding.

Man atleast they should throw in a free season ski check or something...

Oh and Snowolf..do all 50 platnium season passes sell every season? Its mind boggling that someone would pay 2k for up front parking and a few other things...they should get to cut in every lift line or something for that price lol..
Quite few things actually. For one, the Schush grill has been totally renovated with more equipment and a better design to get people their food quicker so we should see shorter lines there. Our lifts are now using the scan technology for faster loading. Better night lighting which was badly needed. The one I am excited about is the opening of all that previoulsy out of bounds back country between HRm and the Heather Canyon run out. S&R Cliffs and the area north og Yoda is now going to be open with gated access for some really gnarly double black trees, steeps and cliffs.

I don`t know if they sell all of those passes or not. With the economy being what it is now, I bet we sell fewer of those this year. Those people will have to just hang with us common folk...

I'm back in Snowmass after a quick trip back to KC. There isn't any new snow down in the lower valley but the hill still has snow. I haven't been back up to the base yet but there should still be big ass man made piles ready to push out for Thanksgiving. Hopefully we'll have enough snow to be open to the top of the Village Express anyway but I don't think we'll be getting any early turns here.
